Playing Point: Lesson 4

What does it take to make a great point guard?

It starts with making good decisions.

The best decision that you can make is to practice deliberately. Your journey to becoming the best basketball player you can be begins with how you practice. If you pay attention to details when you practice, you will be able to pick up on details during the game. If you push yourself beyond your limits daily, you will rise above the competition when it counts.

Making good decisions on the court starts with making good decisions off the court. One of those decisions should be to practice deliberately.

Practice with a purpose.

These workouts are written out for you to keep track of your progress. There are many ways to become a great player. These workouts are just one of them. No matter what you do, come to the gym with a plan, a plan to get better every day. Becoming a great PG involves becoming a smarter player. This means being a student of the game.
